We have just finished one interesting topic connected with cooking. This is not my favourite activity because it requires time, skills i don’t have and energy. And the result is going to be eaten for five minutes. Isn’t unfair?
But anyway I learned a lot of new vocabulary.
Now i know the descriptions of cooking verbs. These are actions we usually do in the kitchen while cooking something.
There is one thing that missing and it is whisk. It’s the thing we do with dough using a whisk(the same name!). The forst association that comes to my mind is cooking pancakes.
Also I learned a lot of names for cooking utensils.
First of them is SPATULA
Also i should mention stove where we fry and boil food,rolling pin which allows us to roll out dough, fryinf pan which makes typical English breakfast.
We also were offered to cook something interesting and make a video of it but i am afraid that burned up kitchen in my dorm is not a good recommendation for my profile.
